Terms of use

LAST UPDATED: 26 July 2026

These terms govern access to and use of qontexta.ai. They are written to be understood on the first read: if something is not clear, write to us before accepting it.

01

1. Purpose and acceptance

These terms govern access to and use of qontexta.ai, the AI context platform that connects your data warehouse, writes your semantic model into a Git repository you control, and serves it over MCP, semantic SQL, REST and GraphQL (the «Service»), owned by Mind Analytics SL, tax ID B86740743, registered office at Ronda de Sant Pere 16, 08010 Barcelona («Mind»). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you act on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind it, and «you» will also refer to it.

02

2. The account

You need an account with accurate, up-to-date information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for the activity carried out with them, and you must tell us as soon as you detect unauthorised access. You must be of legal age to register.

03

3. Your model and your data

The semantic model is yours and lives in your repository. It is YAML files laid out as a standard Cube project, in the Git account you designate. It is not a proprietary format: if you stop using qontexta, the model stays with you and keeps working without us.

Your warehouse data stays in your warehouse. The Service queries it read-only when someone asks a question, and neither replicates nor retains it. You are responsible for the lawfulness of that data and for holding the necessary rights over it; with regard to any personal data it contains, Mind acts as a processor.

04

4. The Git repository

To work, the Service needs to read from and write to the repository you link, with the permission you grant it (a GitHub App installed on your account, or a personal access token). It writes only inside the model directory and always as authored commits, so every change is recorded in your own history.

You can revoke that access at any time from your provider or by unlinking the repository: that stops the Service, but deletes nothing of what is already in it.

05

5. The AI assistant

The assistant is included and runs on Mind’s own AI account: you do not supply a key. To propose a model we send the provider your schema metadata and your definitions, as detailed in the privacy policy. Its proposals are just that — proposals: nothing is written until you accept them, and reviewing what you accept is yours to do. Each plan comes with a monthly allowance; if it runs out, AI features pause until the next month or until you upgrade.

06

6. Plans, pricing and billing

There is a free plan and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) and renew automatically unless cancelled beforehand. Amounts paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We may change prices with reasonable prior notice.

07

7. Acceptable use

  • Using the Service for unlawful purposes or to process malicious content.
  • Attempting to access accounts, data or infrastructure that are not yours.
  • Reselling or sublicensing the Service without written authorisation.
  • Deliberately overloading the infrastructure or circumventing your plan's limits.
08

8. Intellectual property

Mind retains ownership of the Service: software, design, trademarks and documentation. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for the duration of the relationship. None of this affects your model or your data, which are yours under clause 3.

09

9. Availability and changes to the Service

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may carry out maintenance, updates and improvements, with reasonable prior notice where the change is substantial. The Service also depends on third parties you control — your data warehouse and your Git provider: if one of them is down, the part of the Service that depends on it will be too.

10

10. Continuity

We do not back up your model because there is no need: its full history is in your repository, under the version control you already use. Of what we do keep — your account, your settings and the encrypted credentials — we hold daily backups with a minimum retention of 30 days. Your business data stays in your warehouse, under whatever backup policy you have there.

11

11. Limitation of liability

Mind is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or business losses. Mind’s total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. None of this excludes liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor any liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

12

12. Suspension and termination

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend the Service for material breach, non-payment or security risk, with prior notice whenever reasonably possible. When the relationship ends, your model remains in your repository and your data in your warehouse; what is deleted is your account, your credentials and the index we keep.

13

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will publish the current version with its date and give advance notice of substantial changes. Continuing to use the Service afterwards means accepting them.

14

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

Spanish law applies. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of Barcelona, unless consumer law provides for a different venue.
